Data Deletion Instructions
You can request deletion or anonymization of eligible information processed through Margetli, whether you are a Facebook user who contacted a connected business Page or a merchant using the service.
How to submit a request
- Open the Facebook Page through which you interacted with the business.
- Send that Page a private message asking it to forward a “Margetli data deletion request” to the service operator.
- Include the Page name, approximate date, and whether it concerned Messenger, a Page comment, cart, or order.
Never send a Facebook password, access token, payment credential, or government identity document in the initial request.
Identity verification
We or the relevant merchant may request reasonable verification to locate the correct Page-scoped record and prevent deletion of another person’s information. Merchant requests also require verification of the merchant account and Store authority.
What may be deleted or anonymized
Depending on the verified request and applicable obligations, this may include Page-scoped customer identifiers and names, messages or comments held by Margetli, conversation state, carts, customer contact or address details, and related operational records. Disconnecting a Facebook integration stops future authorized processing but does not by itself delete existing records.
Exceptions
Some order, security, audit, dispute, fraud-prevention, or legally required records may need to be retained or anonymized instead. We will assess the verified request and explain any applicable limitation. We acknowledge and process requests without promising an unapproved fixed completion period.
Facebook removal
You may also remove the application from Facebook’s Business Integrations settings. This revokes future access granted through that integration but is separate from deleting records already stored by Margetli.
Meta callback note
This page provides user-facing instructions. If Meta specifically requires a Data Deletion Callback URL rather than an instructions URL, that is a separate technical and policy checkpoint; this page does not implement automated destructive deletion.
